Paper Dreams
By Coffee Pot Theatre
Percy Poppleton has always loved to create paper people out of the scraps he finds on his bedroom floor. Bringing them to life with his own imagination. Whilst always hoping for better, he is unable to see the beauty in the characters he creates. But every night, when the lights go out, he is able to see them in all their glory. But will this change his mind?

"Paper Dreams" was a family puppet show created by Coffee Pot Theatre, a small company based in the Forest of Dean. The show was an exploration into the strength of a child's imagination, using live music and table top Bunraku Puppetry.
Coffee Pot Theatre performed the scratch version of the show in November 2016, alongside company Found in the Forest. They then went on to perform the full preview show at Artspace in Cinderford, in May 2017.
